TLDR : Answer Summary
To safely collect your letter of "account in good standing" from your bank before visiting immigration, it is generally advised to obtain the letter no more than 7 days prior to your application. Many commenters noted that some banks, like Bangkok Bank, can issue the letter on the same day, while others may be valid for 3 working days or less. It is recommended to confirm with your specific bank and immigration office as policies may vary by region and bank.

Likely different from office to office in Srischa they require same day in the morning - which we have done for 7 years - no issue as we can pick it up from a lokal Bangkok Bank in Srischa at 08.00 and immigration opens at 8.30 plus over the years the number of visitors to immigration has gone down and the number of people at immigration has been the same.

In Pattaya the bank letter is valid for 3 working days. Bangkok Bank will issue the letter for a cost of 100 THB. while you wait. You will need your bank book updated on the day you go to immigration. Plus photo copies of first page and all pages going back previous year. Sign all photocopies

You’ll get different answers here because it varies from office to office. Some require same day, some say 3 days and some say within 7 days. Maybe ask in a Facebook group specific to your area to see what others may advise, or go ask your immigration office for their policy.
Immigration doesn't accept the downloaded statements. They must be the original printouts from the bank. My branch stamps them as well, as my branch manager says immigration love rubber stamps!
thank you. My statement from the branch took me 7 days, 1 week when I requested the 12 month one. This was from my Branch last time I asked. You are so lucky.
