TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen arriving in Thailand can stay for 30 days without a visa. After this period, they can extend their stay by applying for a 30-day extension at immigration for a fee of 1900 baht. Alternatively, they may consider obtaining a 60-day tourist visa before traveling, which can save complications and provide an easier stay without requiring a visa run to another country. Documents needed for the extension include a passport, a passport photocopy, a photo, and TM30 form from accommodation.

I'm here now on a 60day tourist visa from the London Thai embassy online system. Single entry was about £35 (I used this) and a multi entry was about £180 but Thailand 🇹🇭 is big enough for me to see.
Documents and pictures to upload but it's a very simple system that will approve or reject uploads if not correct. Then wait few days for visa email.....print out and keep copy on your phone.
Enjoy 60 days in Thailand 🇹🇭

Either go to get a 30 day extension a few days before your free 30 days are up, which will cost you 1900 bht. Or apply now online to the royal Thai embassy U.K. for a 60 day Tourist e-visa for £30. Mine only took 5 days to process, but I would apply now just in case? Then if you wish, you can do a 30 day extension for 1900 bht in Thailand, giving you 90 days total. If you are going to extend, you will need passport photo, photo copy of passport data page and entry stamp. And TM30 from your accommodation. Happy travel 😊
You need onward travel ticket if your return flight is more than 30 days they are checking at the airport at check in and also Immagration are pulling people at survanabhumi if you haven’t got a visa so be carefull

You'll need onward travel as well within 30 days flying from the UK just to board your flight
