Hey guys! Had to last minute change my flight to Thailand tomorrow (coming from Vietnam). Iโm a UK citizen and just wanted to double check - do I get 30 day visa on arrival, and is it possible to pay to extend this for another 30 days at the immigration office?
Also, Iโm presuming I need proof of onward travel - does this need to be within the 30 days or can it be within the 60 (providing the extension is possible).
Thank you so much ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen arriving in Thailand can receive a 30-day visa exemption upon entry. Additionally, it is possible to extend this stay for another 30 days at a Thai Immigration office for a fee of 1900 Thai Baht. It is recommended to have proof of onward travel, which can be for a date within the 60 days following the potential extension.
thank you so much James! Super helpful, appreciate you taking time to reply ๐๐ผ

These are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office. Be sure you have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.
