Can My Landlord Register My TM30 Online or Do They Need to Go to Immigration in Person?

Not sure if this is visa-related enough but feel free to delete. I'm reading conflicting info about the TM30 process online via the Thai immigration website. For first time users, can you register online or should the landlord go to CW in person to apply for those?

And has anyone experience with reporting online AFTER 24h after arrival?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 registration can be done online, but the process and requirement vary depending on the immigration office. The landlord must register an account online using specific details like the blue housebook number. For reporting after 24 hours of arrival, landlords can do this online if they provide their login credentials; otherwise, they must visit an immigration office in person, especially if the registration was not completed on time.

My landlord is definitely willing to help, so he would do the online reporting / go to CW as it is his property. I'm on an ED visa here studying at the university. When I arrived my landlord was abroad so he wasn't able to do it yet. Which means that I will be reported late and as

mentioned, I cannot do the reporting online, rightšŸ¤”

Teun Van de Goor I said you need the owner for the REGISTRATION. You can do the reporting by yourself anytime if the owner lets you have his login data and password. I would kindly ask him to do so, because then neither him nor you will have to worry about it next time you return from abroad

If the owner gives you permission and the log in and password, you can do the reporting.

if the owner want to keep it in her own hands to control what happens, then it is like it is.

Are you the owner of the place or just a visiting tourist?

You Must Go to the Immigration office of your Choice in Person.....there you will get your password for the online usage....

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, my post wasn't clear enough. My landlord will do the reporting or the registering online, not me.

Why would a tourist get passwords for an app to be used for home owners?

I don't think you have a choice of the immigration office you can use, I think you have to use the one nearest to you.

when registering online, I remember vaguely that the number of the blue housebook of the owner is required. So, yes, you need the owner involved at least by that bit, in order to register the address successfully

Regarding to online report of TM 30, first you have to register user account with required documents, then account information (login, password) will be sent to register-er by email. This account is address specific. As long as required documents are provided (upload), landlord/owner or you can apply.

From app or web service of TM30, you can have only 2days frame of days to chose arrival date from (yesterday and today). If you want to do late report, you need to go to immigration office.

The whole process can be done online but I guess this may depend which Imm. office you are using.
