Hi guys, I'm applying for the thai STV. Anyone living in Singapore managed to get this medical certificate endorsed in Singapore (not Thailand)? Went to a few clinics and all rejected it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post outlines the challenge of obtaining a medical certificate endorsed in Singapore for the Thai STV visa application, with various community members sharing their experiences and suggestions. Some advise visiting specific clinics known to provide the required endorsements, while others mention unofficial methods to obtain the certificate. There is discussion about the actual requirements for the STV and how the process differs from other countries.

I did it in a neighbourhood clinic and paid like $15 for it. just tell the doctor they only require physical examination. By the way the diseases stated has very obvious physical effects.

I also did check with the Thai embassy in Singapore in which they also said just need physical examination

The doctor will also probably write on it saying only physical examination done. Which I scanned and did some photoshopping as to avoid any unnecessary problems at the Thai airport ( in case they can’t read the English and what not )

Most all can be confirmed with interview and then a simple finger prick blood test for syphilis.

It's a very silly form to be sure! Strange that syphilis is a concern and not HIV. Here in Mexico... For a few dollars most doctors will sign the form. The form needs to be done away with for sure.

Only Government organized hospitals will stamp this certificate that also after getting proper tests done to verify that you are actually free of these diseases. I got this in Malaysia and Indonesia. ONLY GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS

Wrong I know there are clinics in JB will sign this. Its just not allowed now to go across causeway.

You must be in the 1 % that actually does the test

I was going to suggest the same., or any other online doctor. When required for a visa in the UK a couple of years ago I simply had my GP sign it. It just needs a doctor's signature and their licence number, neither of which will be checked by anyone on the evisa website or anywhere else.

When I had mine done in Australia some years ago, the friggin consulate in Sydney actually verified with my doctor the authenticity. I really couldn't believe they would go to the trouble for what is essentially bullshit. BUT... we all know it......this is Thailand.

Do you have a doctor in Singapore? .. in the uk , I went into my local doctors , saying β€œ I know I must pay for this but β€œ .. was charged Β£40 …

I noticed some people are saying do it yourself, but it’s the doctors surgery β€˜ stamp β€˜ that they , ( immigration) are looking for ..

yes they do a lot of the Thai workers, nearly had to use it last year when you still had to get MOH permission to get a covid test for entry to Thailand.

I couldn’t get it signed in UK. I had to write a letter in the end and get it signed by a doctor. They accepted that

Are you sure the embassy is requiring it? I did my stv in Taipei and they didn't actually require the medical check or background check.

Do you mean getting endorsed in Singapore or Thailand? Is it for Thai work permit? If yes you can go to any private hospital in Thailand and tell them you need a medical certificate for work permit purposes.
