Hello, I have been stranded in Austria since March 2020 following the forums to prepare myself for my return to Thailand. 7th december I started my NON OA evisa with Vienna Embassy. 15 minutes after exepting my payment I received an email that I needed the down loaded medical also:

"Notarized medical certificate from Austrian Ministry of Health AND Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please contact the two ministry to get your medical certificate notarized"

I have no idea what to do? Anybody?

This is the downloaded form from the Vienna Embassy, which my GP filled in properly. ID number and so on.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on obtaining a notarized medical certificate required for their NON-O visa application to Thailand, after having difficulty with the process and communications from the Vienna Embassy. Community members suggest visiting the Wiener Tropeninstitute for medical verification, followed by obtaining necessary stamps from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There are also alternative suggestions for using a tourist visa to facilitate entry into Thailand.

i made my O-A in Austria ! Go to the 9th district, i think Alserstrasse , there is the "Wiener Tropeninstitute", they made this for me ! With this you go to the Ministery of Health, get a stamp, than to the minististary of Foreign Affairs, they give you the next stamp ! Why 2 Ministary ? I dont know, but you can make both in 2 hours, no people there ! Tropeninstitut takes several days to give you the result

I have everything, also the medical signed from the GP. So you telling me this is really true with the 2 ministries. So I do not have to bother with a "notarieller beglaubigung" from a solicitor in wels. Only ministeries

Better and easier, (if you are over 50 or you are married with a thai) go with an normal tourist visa and make a yearly NON O visa for marriage or retire visa in Thailand

as long as you make the O-A in Vienna, its enough to show them your Bankbook and a Bankstatement, but if you extend after one year in Thailand you need the 65K monthly or 8OO in a bankbook

3. Ministry if foreign affairs is the last and they will authenticate that that paper and the ministri of health is ok

Than you got it and have the paper for your thai visa

2. Than go to ministry of health, so they will confirm that doctor is allowed to work in Austria

Anyway, with that paper you need to go first to a doctor which confirm that you are not any illness which is listed in that formular.
