TLDR : Answer Summary
A Singaporean seeks assistance to obtain a medical certificate indicating no prohibitive diseases for entry into Thailand using the Special Tourist Visa. While they have gathered all other necessary documents, they find it challenging to locate a doctor willing to certify the required medical certificate. Comments from the community suggest that any doctor can issue such a certificate and share various experiences regarding the certification process, including advice on where to get the certificate in Singapore.

. I just asked my GP to sign it. He knows my history so didn't need to do any tests. Apparently, some of these tests can be pretty expensive, as they're out of the ordinary. Try your usual doctor first.

same in Australia! Couldn’t get a Dr to sign it without doing the very expensive tests and then having to wait weeks to get results! Luckily, my specialist Dr signed it as I’ve seen him for years.

In thailand it costs about 100baht at any clinic, I just had one done for driver license renewal, just took blood pressure haha.

Interestingly, the Thai embassy in Canberra accepts a Thai signed one within 3 months...not that it helps for those wanting to get in at the moment!
