Does terminating my part-time job affect my Non-Immigrant B-A Visa status in Thailand?

I have a question regarding my work permit and its connection to my visa and stay status. I arrived in Thailand on Mar-2023, holding a Non-Immigrant B-A visa, also known as a "Working Holiday Visa," which allows me to stay for approximately two years. In due course I obtained a local part-time job to keep myself busy and was granted a work permit.

The spirit of the working holiday visa is to provide stay with flexibility.

My concern is, if I decide to terminate my part-time employment, would it affect the validity of my visa/stay? I've heard that with sponsored business visas, the visa/stay status is directly linked to the work permit, so if the employment is terminated, the visa is also cancelled. Does the same rule apply to my situation?

Thank you in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's concern was whether terminating their part-time job would affect their Non-Immigrant B-A visa validity. The comments clarified that quitting a job does not impact the visa or the stay status since the working holiday visa is not directly linked to the work permit like other business-sponsored visas. The user is allowed to stay in Thailand until February 5, 2025, regardless of job status.

Whether you carry a work permit or not, whether you quit your job or not has NO bearing on either the VISA (the sticker in your passport) which is valid for unlimited entries until the 8th of March 2024 OR on the year long entry stamp you got when you entered the country Feb 7th this year which is good until 5th Feb 2025.

IF you are going to leave the country and come back after the VISA runs out (March 8, 2024) you need to buy a re-entry permit at the immigration office where you live or at the airport before you fly out or that entry stamp will cancel when you stamp out of the country.

You're able to stay until 5 Feb 2025 though no issues
