Can I work on a Non-B visa without a Work Permit in Thailand, and what happens if I leave my job?

Hi! A couple of questions: I can legally work with a non-b visa (90 days), or should I wait until I actually have the Working Permit?

Second thing: if I leave my job, do I still have the rest of the 90 days, or my non-B visa automatically expires? Thanks a lot!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Non-B visa allows you to stay in Thailand for work purposes, but you must have a Work Permit to legally work. Without a Work Permit, you should refrain from working. If you leave your job, your Non-B visa does not automatically expire; however, you would need to verify your visa status with immigration as your work circumstances have changed.

You NEED a work permit to work. Get ahold of the Ministry of Labour or the company you work for.
