Hey guys! I'm living and working in Thailand under a non immigrant type B visa. My working permit is valid until 22nd of February 2022, but the visa in my passport says that I'm allowed to stay until 4th of May 2022.

The thing is that February is gonna be my last month in the company and I won't longer work for them. I think that once the company communicates to immigration that I'm no longer working for them I have to immediately leave the country, right? But why the visa in my passport says that I'm allowed to stay until 4th May??

Can anyone give me some advise? I would like to stay in Thailand longer than February, but not sure how to...

Thank you in advance!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user living in Thailand on a Non-Immigrant B visa is seeking advice regarding their situation after leaving their job. The work permit is valid until February 22, 2022, while the visa allows a stay until May 4, 2022. The user is concerned about needing to leave the country once the company notifies immigration of their departure from the job, and they are looking for options to extend their stay in Thailand beyond February.

I guess you have the big stamp from Immigration with in the secon line the text:

Extension of Stay permitted up to 4 May 2022.

This stay has to be cancelled by you using the last day of working, you may do this in advance to have time to leave the country or apply for a new Extension of Stay if you can meet the requirements.
