Hello everyone. I’m currently holding a 90-day Non-Immigrant B visa and working for a school. Due to some circumstances I’ve decided to quit the job, and finish working on 28 December. Anyway, my 3 month visa has still 3 weeks left and I was told that the school will cancel my visa when I quit. I won’t get a work permit as well because they said I quit before getting a work permit which is under preparation for the documents, when I said I will go, they got all documents stopped processing because I will go before getting work permit. Although my visa will be expired on 18 January before extension, the school said I am able to stay in Thailand until 2 January and then I must go out of the country. I wish I could spending more time travelling in the country until the visa really expires. (Although it’s not my first time here being in this country)
Also, one of my friends working here told me about if I applied another NonB next time, I could be rejected by the embassy as they now require the copy or evidence of the previous work permit, unless I would have a new passport with blank records on it. Have anyone of you had this matter about visa and quitting before having a work permit before? Thank you.
