Can I qualify for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand while working for a Canadian company remotely?
As a remote employee of a Canadian sales company, I am interested in relocating to Thailand while maintaining my current job. Would this qualify me for the DTV visa?

You might need a cast iron guarantee that you are cut out of any sales with Thai companies (to avoid your employer being taxed) or subsidiaries of Thai companies.

Wouldn’t recommend it. 5 hours difference to Europe is already a lot. Not much point just to save la couple grand for a lower cost of living. It’s gonna be too tiring for you.

OPYes I usually work 9am to 7pm central time. So yeah I would have to work 9pm to 7am type thing. But my hours can be flexible

Absolutely, but if you have fixed working hours, mind the gap. When I went last year to Costa Rica for a couple of weeks, I had to work there from 2 am to 8 am (local time) every weekday, due to the time difference. It was horrible.
