Does the DTV "Workcation" visa allow work for a Thai entity?

Hello guys, Has anyone who applied for the DTV subcategory "Workcation" (e.g., digital nomads or similar, not "Soft Power") received a visa approval that specifically states "work permitted"? I'm curious if this is mentioned. Could someone who fits this category please check their visa approval and let me know?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the DTV subcategory "Workcation" and whether it explicitly allows for work in Thailand. Responses indicate that regardless of the DTV subclass, the visa does not permit employment with Thai entities, essentially categorizing it as a tourist visa. To work legally in Thailand, one would need to switch to a Non-B visa with a work permit.

All the DTV categories are "Employment Prohibited" <- meaning you can't legally work for a THAI entity on it in thailand 🙂

If you got a job here you could change the DTV in country to a Non-B w/work permit (which would cancel the DTV)

As far as I know you aren't permitted to work for an entity in Thailand, drawing a salary or remuneration. The client you work for cannot be based in Thailand. It's a glorified tourist visa that doesn't allow work. There is the foreign talent category which may include something like a musician, but I have no idea how that integrates if it's a paid gig.
