Hello guys,

I need some advice for visa!

I'd really really love to live in Thai. I have my own business and I work online 100% of the time. (I don't have any employees.)

But as I know, currently a private businesses are not allowed to receive digital nomad visa, right?

Then what kind of visa could I take for live in Thai?

Thank you all for your kind help! πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on visa options to live in Thailand while operating an online business, expressing concern about the lack of a specific digital nomad visa. Comments suggest alternatives like the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa if qualifying, Smart Visa options, or using an Employer of Record (EOR) service to obtain a work visa. Additional recommendations include examining the new Thai tax policy for worldwide income and exploring educator visas as a temporary solution.

One possibility is an educators visa to see if Thailand really is where you want to stay. I have solutions if you want to live in Chiang Mai.

You could look into an employer of record (EOR) solution provider. Basically, they handle your payroll and take a small cut. In turn, you get a proper work visa and permit.

There is no such thing as a "digital nomad" visa for Thailand. The LTR visa is not for small business owners for Work from Thailand Professional. If you qualify for Wealthy Global Citizen, you can invest here and get an LTR visa.

It depends on whether you're company is big enough to support an LTR visa or not. Sounds unlikely so you have few options to live in Thailand legally on a long term basis. There are various work prohibited visas you could apply for and just keep your head down but not ideal
