I heard that now because of varian Delta all Thai Citizen return from overseas and after finish their quarantine in hotel ASQ they should do again another 14 days quarantine when return to their hometown in gouvernement place ( free ) ????

Look at the district details of what is required. You are still travelling from a red zone. For Mukdahan that means home isolation ans a COVID test. Off to the hospital if positive.

Have you met some of the village heads? They can barely read. They certainly don’t know about national quarantine procedures and like to make things up on the go. Don’t just take their word for it. Show proof you did quarantine already and negative test result (ideally in Thai) and let them know nicely to get off your neck.

this is not new as expats too have reported having to do added in home quarantine upon return to their home villages and cities since last July 2020....
