My Thai friends are uncertain so I'd ask here. Anyone know if Thai National can travel to Indonesia? What's required for them to leave?
Getting into Indonesia is the easy part that I can help with.
If they can leave, is quarantine on return the same as for foreigners or treated differently now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Thai nationals can indeed travel to Indonesia, though they may need a visa depending on the purpose of their visit. Upon returning to Thailand, these travelers have the option of taking a state-repatriation flight with quarantine in a government facility, or purchasing a ticket for a commercial flight and undergoing a self-funded quarantine in a hotel of their choice. Travel and immigration requirements can change frequently, so checking the latest guidelines from official sources is advisable.
Thais are free to travel out of the country. Obviously they’d need a visa (if required) to get into what ever country. On return they have two choices. They can opt for state repatriation flights (limited availability and not available from all places) and go to a state quarantine place (you don’t get a choice of where they place you) or they can buy a semi commercial ticket from a dozen or so airlines that fly into Bangkok daily and quarantine in an alternative state quarantine hotel of their choice - at their own expense.
I no a girl here in thailand just got her visa and leaves thailand next week but that is to uk so they must be letting them fly out of country but dont no about to indonesia
