Couple of questions on the new test and go. 

What time do you need/have to get to the hotel for the 5th day to check in?  I’ve read they don’t test before 6 pm, but what time do we have to show up?  6 pm?  11 pm?  Etc. 

During the period from 1st day to 5th day, we want to travel to Phuket from Bangkok. I assume we have to be on one of the special “Covid planes” because we are between days?  We have a friend that will be there already and last his 5th day testing, so he can not fly on the same flight?

It's really all going to be based on the hotel and their partner hospital. You need to check with the hotels you are looking at using and take their guidance. It's very possible you could check in super early and get the results back a few hours later and be on your way.

I don’t know about hotel times, but after your day 1 test, providing its negative you can go wherever you want in Thailand, on whatever mode of transport you choose. Then day 5 you’re back to square one in a hotel room waiting for your test results. If negative then continue with your holiday 👍

hopefully someone will answer that 🤞🏻 from what I’ve read though, when you land internationally into Thailand they want you processed, bungled into transport and safely into your hotel asap, so can’t imagine check in times exist atm tbh. Day 5 may be different because you’re already in Thailand and making your own way to the hotel for your overnight stay. I guess it’ll be a case of emailing the hotel directly 😊
