Question on the 90-day reporting:

I entered the Kingdom last Nov 16 on a 30-day visa exemption, then I applied for a 30-day extension based on Tourism. Currently, I am now on a 60-day extension based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. Should I do the 90-day reporting counting the 1st day I entered the Kingdom (Nov16)? Or how does that work?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting requirement for foreigners in Thailand depends on the type of visa and the situation. In the case described, the individual entered Thailand on November 16 on a 30-day visa exemption and subsequently extended it due to COVID-19. Whether 90-day reporting is necessary can vary based on the immigration office's policies. Some offices may require it even with extensions, while others may not. It is advisable to check directly with the local immigration office for the specific requirements in your area.

I am in the same situation. When I recently went to file my 90 days report I was told that it wasn't necessary. The immigration didn't accept my report. They didn't provide any evidence that I tried to file it either so it is a bit worrying in case if another inspector would say next time that it was necessary to file and try to fine me. I left a bit confused.

It depends on the Immigration Office you use.

Some want you to do 90 day reports when you stay longer than 90 days inside Thailand using the unable to travel Extensions. Call or visit the office in your area.
