TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses updates regarding the 90-day Report Notification in Thailand following the extension of the visa amnesty until September 26. There is some confusion regarding the correct information, as a user mentions that the amnesty allowed for a grace period to file reports, while another claims their immigration lawyer stated there is no need to file during this time. Users share experiences and advice about filing the 90-day report and the processes involved.
, I guess you'll find out what's what when ever you do go to file your 90 day report. :)
I'm just stating what was put out so far.. I googled around in english and thai but couldn't find anything that says any different than what I posted..
All thru this amnesty we've been advising people who needed to file 90 day reports to just do it like normal when it is due rather than fool with the "no need to file" amnesty dealy..
Thanx for the update, good luck with it

Thanks, I may need it!! ...and pls note I tried to report last week ...had all my docs in order ...but no dice ..even went back and doubled checked ...the 1st officer then conferred with the senior person and she confirmed it again ...unless I'm being set-up for a squeeze (555) I gotta believe them.
what type of a long term visa/extension are you on that requires 90 day reporting?
Something doesn't add up at all.

...my lawyer told me that the info she got was issued today. So, this is the immigration officer telling (twice) ... and my lawyer telling me. Both say, "no need" ...
That is indeed what Immigration has posted on their website, and yet the Cabinet decision and subsequent Royal Gazette announcement don't say that at all - they just say that 90 day reporting isn't required thru September 26, which is why people like the OP are confused. Given the conflict, I agree with you that the safest course is to follow the earlier date, even if it's not clear how they came up with it!

Sadly that is totally NOT correct information :(
When this latest amnesty came into effect (on Aug 1st) it specifically stated that people who had taken the "no need to file a 90 day report" between Mar 26th and July 31st now had from Aug 1st to Aug 31st to GO and file a 90 day report.
That is the last update concerning the "no need to file a 90 day report" during amnesty
