Hello, my 1-year marriage visa expires in mid-November. To extend it, do I have to submit all the documents again just like I did the first time, or is there a simplification since I already had the non-emigrant o visa? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending a 1-year marriage visa in Thailand, you will need to submit all the same documents again, similar to your initial application. There might not be simplifications despite previously holding the non-immigrant O visa; the process generally requires the same documentation, including bank accounts and household evidence. It's advisable to prepare copies of your documents and check with your local immigration office for any potential additional requirements.

Get a file, put all documents in it. I use to copy everything x 5. just pull out when they ask for it. (just make new pictures)

You apply every year based on the same requirements. The simplification is sadly just that you’ve done it one time before.

All the same documents again. And possibly a few more. Visit your immigration office and ask for the hand out for an extension based on marriage.
