Hi all,

I originally obtained a non-o visa based on marriage visa in Savannakhet (in 2019) - then in May 2020 I applied for an extension of stay based on Marriage (which was issued). I now need to apply for another extension of stay.

I assume i just need to complete the required forms again with the required evidence (400k in bank) - I am assuming that i do not need to apply for a Visa again. Can you confirm if my thoughts are correct?

- I can apply for my extension of stay 1 month prior to my current extension of stay expires.

- I can use the same evidence as prior year (except updated bank book showing 400k in bank or 40k per month salary).

I have already been to immigration to get the latest set of requirements (Jomtien Immigration)

tia for your responses.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification about extending their NON-O marriage visa in Thailand. They have previously extended their stay and are looking to do so again, assuming they only need to submit the required forms and evidence similar to before. A comment confirms that the process is the same as last year, noting the need for updated documents and stating that extensions can be applied for when there are 30 days or less left on the current extension.

Totally the same process as you went thru last year (except updated photos, bank book, bank letter, copies etc)

At Jomtien you can apply when you have 30 days or less left on your current extension and you won't lose time because they add the new year to your current stamp.

most offices allow you to apply for a new extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current one

Phuket, Bangkok, Buriram, Chiang Mai and a few others allow it when you have 45 days or less. My retirement runs out every year on April 5 and I always go just after the 20th of Feb (44 days early) in bangkok.
