Do you need the original foreign wedding certificate and MFA stamped translation etc for a 2nd renewal of a yearly extension based on marriage? Having a nightmare - they might be ""lost". (Considering Immigration should have the documents on file from last year?)

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a second renewal of your yearly extension based on marriage in Thailand, you must provide the original foreign marriage certificate along with a certified translation and any additional documents requested by the local immigration office. It's important to verify specific requirements directly with the immigration office, as procedures may vary. Generally, each extension is considered a separate application, requiring full documentation.
When we apply we take copies of and the ORIGINAL marriage certificate (in our case this is in English, from Australia) and an update Kor Ror 22 from the local Thai municipality where we registered our marriage. Plus a copy of that. At our local immigration office this is required to be less than a month old. You both just have to go there and tell them you're still married. They then change the date to match that day and print you a new copy. Bt20. Hope this makes sense.
each yearly extension is a new extension that stands on it's own and requires it's own documentation
I'd say yes you do, but call or go to the immigration office and ask them because there are 70+ offices in the country and they all do it a little bit different .
