Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. I am currently on a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen. The Non-O was obtained at Chaengwattana in the beginning August. I am due to go for my 1 year extension in the beginning of October. I would like to ask if the requirements for the 1 year extension are the same as when applying for the Non-O initially, or are there any other requirements that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a Non-O visa based on marriage and is inquiring if the requirements for a one-year extension are the same as those for the initial application. Responses from the community suggest that while many documents may be the same, additional requirements exist such as more extensive documentation, including photos and signatures. It's recommended to consult directly with the Immigration office for the latest requirements.

Thanks everyone for the answers provided. I will take what I have to the immigration office and see if I require any additional documents.

The requirements are extensive. You'll need to consult the specific Immigration and carefully comply with ALL requirements. You are gonna need photos and signatures on a level far more than getting the non-O.

I guess you mixing some requirements, to get Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage has almost the same requirements for the Extension of Stay based on marriage, but I agree it is more documents then based on being over 50 years of age or witness in court.
