Good morning!

I live in Hua Hin for 6 month with a METV and has to leave the country every 2 month. This is clear?

Do I need a reentry permit any time with this visa?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) allows for re-entry into Thailand without the need for an additional re-entry permit. Each entry provides a 60-day stay, which can be extended by an additional 30 days before leaving the country. Therefore, while a re-entry permit is not necessary, it's important to manage entries and exits carefully to maximize the visa's duration.

METV is a multiple entry visa. each 60 day entry stamp also qualifies for a 30 day extension before you need to bounce out and back. A well timed final entry before the visa expires will get you almost 9 months out of it.
