Can my friend with a multiple entry visa exit and re-enter Thailand without needing a re-entry permit?

Hi there, my friend is visiting me from South Africa. She has a multiple entry visa which is valid for 6 months. I’ve googled about it and there is not much info on it... just that after 2 months she has to go out of Thailand and come back again to activate another 2 months and that you can get 30 days extension...

So my question is, does it also mean that she can go out and come back in as often as she likes, e.g. Singapore in 1 month and Hong Kong the next month... or will she need a re-entry permit?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Your friend can exit and re-enter Thailand as often as she likes during the 6-month validity of her multiple entry visa. There is no indication that she would require a re-entry permit for this type of visa. However, she should be aware of the conditions that come with her visa, such as needing to leave Thailand every 2 months to reset her stay period. Additionally, she may obtain a 30-day extension at immigration if needed.

If she doesn't want to leave the country so much she can get a 30 day extension for 1900 baht at immigration. So 60 Days + 30 Days extension then leave the country even if its a days border bounce repeat then just before the use before date as Bogdan says leave or border bounce that gets 2 months then yet another 30 day extension so if theory you can get almost 9 months out of it.

She can enter and leave Thailand as many times as she likes during the 6 months validity of the visa

...and every time she enters another 60 day period will be activated. So if she enters the on “use before date”, she can get almost 9 months of stay from that visa (provided she extends the last 60 days with 30 days)
