Has anyone tried to do a 7 day extension off of the expired Covid visa program ? I have a tourist visa and been extending for a year. And need 7 days before leaving Thailand for logistical reasons.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about obtaining a 7-day extension of their expired Covid visa in Thailand, with plans to leave soon. One commenter advised that the application for extension begins on the day you apply, suggesting to apply shortly before the current visa stamp expires. They recommended bringing proof of your exit plans and noted that the fee for this extension application is 1900 baht.

the 7 day 'application for extension not approved' starts the day you apply for it so you need to go really close to when your current stamp runs out.
Take proof your exiting the country and go to your immigration office, it's 1900baht for the extension denied 7 days to get out of dodge stamp
GO talk to your immigration office. As I said, that extension denied starts the day you apply for it, as a rule it is NOT added to your expiration date
Yes. You get a stamp in your passport which will create issues in the future, when an immigration officer looks at your passport at an embassy or when trying to enter. You're also in the system as having overstayed.
