Do all family members need to appear at the immigration office for a visa extension in Thailand?

I have a visa extension question...

We are a family of four, with two kids ages 4 and 7... we are coming to the end of our 60 day visas and want to extend at an immigration office...

Do we all have to go? If one of us could go and extend for us all that would be ideal, or even if the kids didn't have to go and we could extend for them that would also be great...

I also read somewhere that kids under 15 don't need to extend... but I can't find confirmation on that...

Any information appreciated!!

Thanks ❤️

TLDR : Answer Summary
A family of four is seeking information about visa extension procedures for their two children ages 4 and 7. They want to know if it's necessary for the entire family to go to the immigration office for the extensions or if one parent can extend for everyone. Additionally, there's uncertainty about whether children under 15 need to appear for the extension, as they read that kids may not be required to extend. The community responses clarify that all family members needing an extension must attend, though kids are not exempt and could receive an overstay stamp if not extended.

Having kids with you can sometimes result in quicker service!

Everyone who needs an extension goes. (y)

Kids are not exempt. They simply don't get fined but do get an overstay stamp.

Hardly the best start in there life of world travel.
