Technically, everyone in Thailand need a valid visa, OR a valid extension of stay. However, for children under 15 years old, all penalties are waived

I applied for the visa extension and paid for them. Went with the kids. Now just going back and getting the stamp. Covid extension.

, while I'm not 100% sure, I believe a parent can take the passports of their children to get the "loop closed" on under consideration stamps.

and Benjamin I didn’t need to take the kids - thanks! They did let me in but did ask me for queue booking and told me to get one next time. Think it depends on how busy they are.
