Quick question: my husband and daughter/toddler - need to go to immigration tomorrow to extend their extension of stay based on being my dependents. I have all docs needed including ceritfied copy of my passport and can give them my original passport also. Do I need to go with them or can they do it without me being present? (Having hard time to free myself from office)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (O/P) inquired about whether they need to accompany their husband and toddler to immigration for the extension of their stay as dependents. They have all the necessary documents, including a certified copy of their passport. Community responses indicate that it is possible for them to go without the O/P's presence, provided they carry the original passport of the visa holder. However, one commenter noted that the O/P's specific situation (working for the UN with a specific type of visa) may have allowed for this exception.
