Hey guy i have a family member on a non o multi entry visa which the visa and entry stamp both expir on may31 i am aware that currently they are covered by amnesty and potentially up to july 31 (i know it not law yet) now normally this family member would just go to a nearest boarder and come back and get an additional 90days past the end of the visa hence getting approx 15mounths out of a year visa.

Now does any one know which Malaysia borders will allow someone to pass in and out with well the visa as stated and if additional paperwork is required ps if its just not possible given the current situation by all means also mention that kind regards all

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current situation indicates that while the borders might allow exiting Thailand, re-entry is not possible due to border closures. Therefore, the family member will not be able to obtain another 90-day entry with a Non-O visa and should consider the existing amnesty, which allows them to stay until the end of July.

The borders to thailand are CLOSED. They might be able to get OUT but there is no way to get back in to the country at this time.

They aren't gonna get another 90 day entry on that Non-O visa, and they're gonna just hafta take the amnesty of being able to stay not longer than July 31st

Oh and the amnesty is DEFINITELY a real thing now, it's passed, in the royal gazette and a rule :)
