Any information gratefully received. Hi I entered Thailand on the 01st January 2020 on a Single entry Non Imm O Visa marriage visa with children. So I get my original 90 days on arrival that was due to expire . I then did a 30 day extension at Udon Thani Immigration office then all this visa amnesty kicked in and have been in Udon ever since. I am due back to work in the UK on the 12th October and the amnesty expires on the 26th September is there any way I can extend my stay until my return to work date say 10th October or will I have to depart on the 26th Sept like everyone else. Its not a problem retuning to work as I have to it will be getting back to see my family in the future. Thanks in advance
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP) entered Thailand on a Non-O marriage visa and extended their stay during the COVID-19 amnesty period. They are now seeking to extend their stay beyond the amnesty expiration on September 26th to accommodate their return to work in the UK on October 12th. The discussion reveals complications regarding their previous extensions, indicating that while the OP may have received a 30-day extension due to COVID, the possibility of further extensions is limited. Suggestions include applying for additional extensions based on family ties or medical reasons, although there are cautions regarding overstaying which could lead to penalties. Overall, the situation underscores the complexities of visa regulations amidst the ongoing pandemic.
