Hello.
I am sorry if this has been answered already or seems a silly question but I have searched the group and I can't find my particular circumstances.
I am on a Non O Multi Visa based on Marriage. This visa expired May 4th. Just before the border's were closed I bounced to Myanmar which would have taken me in to June had the amnesty not happened.
At Sriracha Immigration they allow you to extend your stay by 60 days each time after you have left the country (leave after 90 days - extend for 60 - leave after 90 days - extend for 60 etc.)
My question is,
Would I be allowed to extend for 60 days as I would have been able to do before the Amnesty, even though my visa has expired. Or, do I need to leave on Sep 26th to renew my visa?
(After reading the information they sent out I believe I would, but just want to make sure.)
Thanks in advance of any help.
Sam
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can extend their Non O Multi Visa, which expired on May 4th, by an additional 60 days after leaving the country, despite the current amnesty. They are concerned about the visa expiration and the conditions for extension at Sriracha Immigration.
