What are my options for extending my Non-O visa while under the amnesty?

Hello,

I have a valid non O visa until March 2021. As you know, I need to cross a border to get it stamped. I haven’t read anything addressing these visas.

I haven’t gotten a 60 day emergency family extension yet.

Should I do that and then get a year extension as I’m on the amnesty now? I can put the money in the bank no problem.

Thanks for your help.

And seeing as you've been here since at least the end of March what stopped you from putting the money in the bank and already getting a yearly extension?

Be that as it may, get the money in the bank, let it start to season the 2 months required, IF you can pull it off BEFORE the 26th of Sept when the new amnesty extension ends just go file for the yearly extension then BUT if you need more time, then about a week or so before the amnesty expires GO apply for the 60 day visit thai family extension and then when you have 30 days left on that apply for the year extension.

Thanks. I was doing the wait and see if the borders were going to open up.

So I’ll just put the money in the bank and do an extension so I don’t need to worry.

Thanks for your help.
