TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation clarifies that a Non-Immigrant visa cannot be extended for just 30 days at the embassy. The only option for extending a Non-Immigrant visa is for one year if financial requirements are met, or in cases of marriage to a Thai national or having Thai children, where a family visit extension of 60 days may be requested. It's emphasized that the individual is currently overstaying their visa, which can lead to potential legal issues.

You cannot extend a non immigrant visa/extension for anything other than one year, meeting the financial requirements - unless they are married to a Thai or have

Thai kids, where they could ask for the visit family extension of 60 days.

Those who entered with or obtained subsequent Non immigrant visas are no longer able to apply for a Covid extension.

There are no Thai embassies in Thailand. You would need to visit a local immigration office to get any form of extension.
