Can a Danish friend on a 60-day visa in Thailand extend for 14 days?

A Danish individual married to a Thai national is currently in Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa and needs a 14-day extension. It's important to note that while there is no 14-day extension available, he can apply for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office, assuming he entered on a single-entry tourist visa. If he has already used the 30-day extension, he can instead apply for a 60-day 'visit Thai family' extension or a 60-day Covid extension, both of which are available once and will cover his required time.
