When using 400,000 baht in the bank for a marriage extension as seasoning, can it be in an FCD account at Kungsri or does it need to be in baht?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can use a foreign currency account (FCD) at a Thai bank for the 400,000 baht seasoning requirement for a marriage extension, as long as the amount never dips below the equivalent of 400,000 baht during the two-month seasoning period.

Tod Daniels brother does the money have to be in the account 2 months prior to the date we apply for extension or the expiration of the visa date? Thanks.

It can be a foreign currency account in a thai bank in your name only and as long as the amount never went below the equivalent of 400K thai baht during the 2 months seasoning you'd be fine
