TLDR : Answer Summary
To switch from a Non-B extension to a Non-O marriage visa in Thailand, you should visit the immigration office up to two weeks before your current extension expires on November 14. You will need to have 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account in your name for at least two months prior to applying for the extension. You do not need to explain your work permit situation to immigration, as it is handled by a different ministry.

you will take a letter from your employer stating they have no problem with you cancelling your extension based on employment and getting an extension based on marriage to a thai as of xxx date (usually the last day your current extension is valid.

You can go to the immigration office up to 2 weeks before that date, cancel your current extension and immediately apply for a new yearly extension based on marriage. You need the 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for two months before you apply for the extension, you turn in the documents required for an extension based on marriage, you will get a 30 day under consideration stamp and after that runs out you go back and they will stamp the rest of the 11 month extension into your passport.

You don't need to tell immigrations ANYTHING about your work permit seeing as immigrations isn't the ministry of Labour.

Try asking immigration

Oh and by the way, for your information, the post as been edited after I made my original comment.

The guy had said previously that he had just attended at the immigration office, and now he’s just changed the whole question.

And if you think asking a question off an advice group is more sensible than asking at immigration that you have just attended then you need to ask yourself why you just made such a dumb comment!
