Masters Tod, Robert and others. I have received a new passport (German) and have a visa exempt stamp in the old one, expires today.

Can a person fly or cross by land and will they "stamp out" in the new passport?

Many thanks

Yes, but you have to show both passports.

James Miller he’s talking about leaving Thailand (stamping OUT), so does not need 20,000 Baht cash on hand to leave!

Have the 20,000 Thai baht cash on you ??? Might be a good idea. Your currency or Thai baht. Seems like airport immigration is asking to see ability to have sufficient funds for your stay...cash more and more often from other posts....vs empty wallet....Just a thought.

Correct, if you come back in you just show your new passport. Should be no problem.

1 extra question, if I then fly back in the following day it should pose no issue? Have only had the current visa exempt in more than two years
