I have just replaced my UK passport here in Bangkok. I have a 60 day covid extension visa in my old passport. I will leave Thailand on 1st March before it expires.
Do I have to go to immigration to transfer my visa into my new passport? Or can I just show both passports when I leave Thailand? Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a valid Covid extension visa in their old UK passport but has recently replaced it. They queried whether they need to transfer the visa to their new passport or if showing both passports while leaving Thailand on March 1st would suffice. Commenters indicated that if the user entered Thailand on a tourist or visa-exempt entry, they can simply show both passports. However, if they had a Non-Immigrant visa or have been in the country under amnesty, they must transfer the stamps.
