Hey Folks!

I am currently on a visa exemption (with a 30 day extension - as it showed in picture attached)

and got a NEW passport (Israeli). It arrives with a letter to get your visa transferred at immigration.

Do I still need to transfer something to my new passport? or can I depart the country with the old and new passports?

more information that might be relevant:

* I am going to Vientiane to get SETV - and using the land border in Nong Kai

* (I have 2 back to back visas in my old passport)

*I prefer to go out through Nong Kai on Sep 28th which is exactly the day my extension ends (and since it is a Saturday - I could not go for the immigration near the border to sort out the new passport if needed...)

Answer summary

The user is seeking advice on whether they need to transfer their visa from their old passport to their new Israeli passport before departing Thailand. They possess an extension on their visa exemption, plan to travel to Vientiane for a SETV visa, and intend to exit through the Nong Kai border on the last day of their extension.
