Answer summary

A user inquired about transferring their visa from an existing passport to a new passport after obtaining it in Bangkok. Comments confirmed that it is possible to visit any Thai immigration office to complete the transfer. It was also advised to bring both the old and new passport, along with any official letters from the embassy explaining the new passport's issuance.

I got a new passport at the Belgium embassy in Bangkok. They also gave me a letter to give to Thai immigration explaining the reason for the issuance of a new passport. Take your old and new passport to immigration and they will transfer everything to your new passport.
