TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a 90-day Non-Immigrant O visa based on marriage at the Thai consulate in Vientiane, you typically do not need to show proof of funds. However, it's important to book an appointment online and provide necessary documents such as a marriage certificate, your spouse's ID card, and passport photos. For a year-long, multiple-entry Non-O visa without proof of funds, you may need to visit Savannakhet or Ho Chi Minh City.

I did my last single entry non o (married to Thai) in Vientiane in July and they asked me for bank statements for the 3months I was staying which I did not have .they did give me the visa but said next time "no bank statements no visa " .i asked how much they needed to see and they couldn't give me a straight answer but I did ask some other posters on here and they were told around the 200k mark for the 3 month duration .i have been told Vientiane is trying to cut numbers of people using the consulate often, I think Anmorat has some more info on this if I'm correct

and are you going to be able to meet the proof of funds to get a year extension inside the country based on marriage to a thai AFTER you get the 90 day single entry Non-O visa?
That is 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name for two months before you apply for your extension?

please, turn off you caps lock and you do not have to make many new topics for the same question:
Non Immigrant O based on marriage Savannakhet or Vientiane.
front&back of the original marriage certificate
front&back of your thai wife's i/d card
thai wife's house book listing
data page of your passport
lao visa and entry stamp
2 passport sized photos and a filled out application
Show of original wedding certificate
you sign everything with your name on it, your wife signs everything with her name on it meaning you both sign the marriage certificate
Those things and 2000 Thb get you a 90 day single entry Non-O visa based on marriage.
, you do not need to show proof of funds when applying for a 90 day Non-Immigrant Type O visa based on marriage to a thai at the thai consulate in Vientiane, BUT you do need to make an appointment using the online booking system.
IF you want to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage without needing to show proof of funds you have to go to Savannakhet Lao OR Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. Those are the only two consulates around that sell the year/multi Non-O based on marriage with no proof of funds.

I don't think so. HOWEVER, it is a single entry visa ("90 days"), and not a one year multiple entry.
