TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the requirements for obtaining a Thai Visa or a Multiple Entry Thai Visa based on being married to a Thai citizen at the Thai Embassy in Sweden. It mentions a lack of financial proof requirements, and comments highlight alternative locations for visa applications post-travel restrictions and issues surrounding expired visas due to canceled flights.

Canadian Thai embassy didn’t give me an answer. I had a visa non o married to a Thai citizen issued but could not use as my flight was cancelled before I could return and expired this week. Was told that until Thailand’s travel ban on June 30th is lifted or extended there will not be any issued . No answer about what happens to the visa already paid for.
if you buy a visa and it expires before you can get into the country you lose it and have to buy a new one.
Seeing as the airspace and borders are NOT open for "normal foreigners" entering the country yet I don't think the embassy has any idea what they'll do (if anything) to people who'd bought a visa from them but couldn't use it before it expired when the country closed.
Now if on the other hand you had a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa (which is valid for a year) if it's still valid when the country opens you could just use it to enter.
thanks, I didn’t get multi because I will get a married visa after I get a Thai bank account and money seasoned. And I agree , they are waiting for direction as the closures were out of my control
