Hi guys! I'm coming to Phuket on September 21st with the sandbox, and I would like to know if it is possible to get the visa for 45 days once I'm there and then extend it to the immigration office for others 45 days ? I already booked my flight back to Italy in December tho, would they make me any problems if I get the visa for 45 days but my flight back is in December?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about obtaining a 45-day visa upon arrival in Phuket under the sandbox scheme, and whether they can extend it for an additional 45 days at an immigration office. The comments clarify that extensions are typically for 30 days only and advise on securing a 60-day tourist visa from their local embassy for better options. Concerns about potential issues at the airport related to having a December flight back to Italy while holding a shorter visa are also raised.
