What are the new visa rules for Moroccan passport holders regarding entry into Thailand?
Good morning beautiful people. My Mom holds Moroccan passport and used to have a 60-day visa exemption; after what they decided yesterday, when the new rules will come in effect, she can get 30 days, or eliminated entirely?

Your mum will need to apply for a visa in advance. Morocco is not on the final list that will get 30 days visa exempt nor the short list that has Visa on arrival.

Once the new rules get published in the Gazette, Morocco is no longer included in the visa exempt or visa in arrival.

Remember, the 60 days is a new thing, and while it's not official yet (wait for Royal Gazette publication), it looks like things are going back to normal, 30 days visa exemption for certain countries. Not in effect until after Royal Gazette publication. Some folks seem quite assured that it wont happen, though, but I think it will, just not sure exactly when.

Phil Beer Where's your source its been published in the royal Gazette? They approved the change back in May . We just waiting for it to be published in the Gazette then it will start 15 days after that

Nothing has changed. The same countries still receive 60 days. If and when it changes, and what those changes will be, no one knows. Not even the government at this point.

No. The cabinet keeps passing new resolutions. They passed another one months ago. Nothing is ever official until it is published in the Royal Gazette. They can pass all the resolutions they want, but it means nothing.This article is from May 20th.

Yesterday's announcement is completely different than the one in May. Completely different lists of countries that will remain 30 days, which ones will get VOA, etc. They keep changing things and then passing new resolutions.Activity
