TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to know if they can extend their visa-exempt stay in Thailand for a total of 60 days through two extensions, while planning trips to London. Responses indicate that a second 30-day extension is not possible after entering visa-exempt; only one 30-day extension is allowed. A suggested alternative is to obtain a Thai tourist visa for 60 days. Additionally, staying longer than 30 days without a departure ticket may lead to complications.

Do you mean you well extend once then exit to London? Then when you return you will extend once then return home? I don't see any issues with that
your biggest issue is whether the airlines will allow you to board if you are coming in visa exempt but without a flight out within the 30 days so I'd check with them. 1 day overstay isn't much of an issue, you don't get fined for it

And ask your airline IF they will allow you to fly to Thailand WITHOUT PROOF of your flight departing Thailand within the 30 days you are STAMPED in on arrival.

Again you have not answered my question βββ Just how long are you planning on staying in Thailand this time?
can you get a second 30 day extension after a SECOND visa exempt arrival? I'm planning a 30 day visa exempt plus extension, a month in Indonesia, then a second round of 30 plus 30. I've left it too late to apply for the 60 day visa.
πOne more thing. Really appreciate your advice and time. Will they be ok with my Indo flights in 60 days on arrival or do I need a disposable flight for 30?
By land border crossing entries into Thailand, you can get a NEW Visa Exempt Entry plus one 30 day extension of stay. AND allowed to enter Thailand by land border crossing a Max of 2 times per calendar year.
By air entries... Unlimited until the Thai Immigration Officer denies entry based on your using the Visa Exempt Entry to live in Thailand.
How long are you really planning on staying in Thailand?
