Leave 28/12 to Australia ( Sons wedding) arrive back in Thailand on 6/12 till 31st January (56 days )

Would i be ok to come on visa exempt for the 28 days then on the return to Thailand from oz get tourist visa or do visa exempt again and get a 30 extension at immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on their travel plans to Thailand, arriving for 28 days and returning for 56 days after a trip to Australia. Comments suggest that the user can enter Thailand on a visa exemption for both stays and can extend their stay by 30 days at the immigration office without needing to apply for a tourist visa while in Australia.

. That’s 29 days because your arrival day is Day 1 but still good for visa exempt.

should have no issue comin' in visa exempt for the first visit, then returning visa exempt for the second one too. You'll have to take a 30 day extension at the immigration office in your area for 1900baht but that shouldn't be a problem either.

I can't see the need to get a tourist visa from Oz before you come here unless you don't wanna fool with the in country extension
