Hi I've looked through previous posts briefly and not seeing a answer to my question which is;

I want to stay in Thailand for about 60 days will it be a problem if my flights are 58 days apart but I'm only going to have 30 excemption on arrival then get my extension when I'm there to take me to 60 days, or should I arrange before leaving? T. I. A

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if they can enter Thailand on a 30-day exemption and later extend their stay to 60 days, despite their flights being 58 days apart. Community responses suggest that it would be safer to obtain a tourist visa before departure, as airlines may deny boarding without proof of onward travel, and extending a 30-day exemption can be risky. Additionally, extensions at immigration for another 30 days are available for a fee.

Don't be sorry for dumb questions. Apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa before you make your way into Thailand. Cost of visa 1.000 Thb and you get 60 days of Stay on arrival and no problems on check in with your airline company. The advice to fly with possible problems with your airline company to Thailand, buy a cheap ticket to another country and pay 1.900 Thb to Immigration for a 30 day Extension of Stay is much more hassle, expensive and time consuming. I guess these people have not much to do while on holiday, others prefer to relax and enjoy the countryside, culture or the beach in Thailand.

While I'm here I might as well ask! Can you extend the 60 days if need be or is it just a visa run to get me another 30?
Ad *******
Yes you can extend at thai imergration for 30 days and make it 90 days for 1900 baht
Ad *******
They do this incase you get denied your 30 day extension because they will get fined i would buy a cheap ticket to lous when the 30 day on arrival runs out then when it does go to an immegration in thailand to extend and not bother going to lous
