Hi. Is it possible to make visa exempt stamp extension in Mae Hong Son local immigration office for 1900 baht?. Also a need to get residence certificate. Is it right that I should do this in Mae Hong Son immigration as I am renting a house in Mae Hong Son province. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the possibility of extending a visa exempt stamp at the local immigration office in Mae Hong Son for a fee of 1900 baht and also seeks clarification on obtaining a residence certificate, given that the individual rents a house in the area. Comments confirm that a 30-day extension is possible at this location, but there is uncertainty about the issuance of a residence certificate.

Unless your doing 90 day reports in Bangkok, you won't get a residents certificate.

yes you can get a 30 day extension there. As far as a residence certificate I am not sure if they'll do it.

I’ve done a residence certificate in mhs a few months back. Lotta paperwork like image of the house, google maps print, rent contract, owner ID copy and copy of house book.
