I live in CM and my son is in Thailand on a 45 day visa and will be in CM soon and would and would like to extend his visa here.

Will he be ok to simply declare my address on extension form with a copy of my tm30 receipt

I'd send him to the office in Central Festival Mall (as they aren't busy) BUT keep in mind they might want him to have a TM30 filed too. So if you can go with him when he goes to get his extension that'd be good

just so you're clear, he's not here on any 45 day visa 😮 because there is no such thing 😕

He's here on what's called a 45 day visa exempt entry stamp and he can get ONE 30 day extension from that stamp for 1900baht at the immigration office.
